Logging Activities

Recording an Activity

  1. Open a contact's detail panel
  2. Click Log Activity
  3. Set the Date and Time duration of the interaction
  4. Select the Activity Type:
    • Call
    • Email
    • SMS
    • Virtual Meeting
    • In-Person Meeting
    • Canvass
  5. Choose the Outcome that best describes what happened (options vary by type):
    • Successful
    • No Answer
    • Left Voicemail
    • Declined
    • Callback Requested
    • Wrong Number
    • Deceased
  6. Add Notes— Use quick-fill buttons for common responses or write your own:
    • "Contact is interested and will consider donation"
    • "Contact pledged a donation - amount to be confirmed"
    • "Requested more information before deciding"
    • "Not interested at this time"
    • "Already committed to other candidates"
    • "Supports the cause, amount to be determined"
    • "Provided email for follow-up materials"
  7. If the outcome was "Successful," you can optionally record a Pledge Amount.
  8. Click Log Activity to save.


Viewing Activity History

Every contact's Activity Log appears at the bottom of their detail panel, showing a chronological record of all interactions including the date, type, outcome, and notes.
